Meet Debra
Debra founded Pendleton Advocacy and Mediation LLC, bringing more than 15 years of professional experience across advocacy, mediation, state auditing, education, mental health, and organizational leadership.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut and Quinnipiac University School of Law, Debra is a former CEO whose career has also included work as a state auditor, nationally certified mental health instructor, group therapy counselor, and educator.
This varied experience helps her understand both the people behind a difficult situation and the systems surrounding it. She brings thoughtful preparation, clear communication, and practical problem-solving to every client.
STATE AUDITOR EXPERIENCE
An Auditor’s Eye for the Details That Matter
Debra’s work as a state auditor is among the professional accomplishments of which she is most proud. One assignment that remains especially meaningful was auditing a clinical school—work that called for careful review, sound judgment, and close attention to both organizational standards and the people affected by them.
That experience strengthened her ability to examine complex systems, identify details that may be overlooked, ask difficult questions, and remain grounded in facts. She brings that same care, discipline, and attention to detail to every client and every situation.
